So, If you’re looking for some sweets to serve your guests before the end of the year, you won’t be disappointed with these chocolate, peanuts and sesame cookies!
- 200g (1 and 1/2 cups) of sesame seeds
- 200g (1 and 1/2 cups) of peanuts
- 200g (1 and 1/2 cups) of chocolate powder
- 200g (1 and 1/2 cups) of icing sugar
- 1 bottle of sweetened condensed milk
- Some nutmeg
I personally buy the peanuts raw and with skin, so first thing to do is peel them and spread on a baking tray. We lightly roast in the oven. Leave it at 180 ºC / 356 ºF for about 15 minutes. Always checking that it does not take too much color.
Do the same with the sesame seed (no need to peel).
Place them (separately) in blender or food processor and purée until they form a thick paste forms.
In a large bowl mix both pastes, then add the icing sugar gradually to the mix along with the chocolate powder.
Tip: If you don’t have industrial icing sugar, you can grind normal sugar (I used a Thermomix for 20 seconds, speeds from 5 to 10 gradually).
Now add the nutmeg and mix to combine everything together.
Finally add the condensated milk and mix until it forms a thick dough.
You’ll get something like that
Now roll into balls or flattened cylinders as you wish.
Finally spread shredded unsweetened coconut flakes, I used finely shredded all over the balls.
And here’s the result of this recipe!!
